LITTLE MONSTER / You Never

LITTLE MONSTER

The bad that you did is back
to haunt you in a living form

There is a little black book
of the deeds you had performed;
the sick and notorious ones;
the nice and angelic – none

You’re the nasty little monster
that no body wants…

Who knew the others have theirs too?
Their records even more despicable
definitely punishable
but yet they escaped under the table

Yet those dirty little monster
are treasured more than the others

The lesson of self-worth is all about
loving yourself more than the rest
to beat them down, those pest
and be the little monster who protest

The lesson of fairness is all about
fiercely tackling all those tests
against the odds of what they claim
are the rights of each man

I am that little monster of pain
back to haunt you in a living form.
The bad that you did is back

You Never

It was never about me, was it?
The faults of others blamed onto me
like the scapegoat I was born to be

Often forgotten, almost non-existence
Not a second look
be it brilliance or nuisance

That talk is flawed
like the portrait so false
the paint peeling off
the colors so vague

But it’s all right…

You are not my priority neither
just to make things even
because you never ever did
remember who went to heaven

You never assumed the role
so why should you get the pay?
Stop deceiving yourself
the crap you say

But it’s all right if I’m childish
isn’t that even better for you?

At least I’ve acknowledged the lie
that you’ve put me through

Been a long time since I've wrote anything new so here are 2 new pieces inspired by the things that happened today, coincidentally my birthday.

"LITTLE MONSTER" is about the monsters inside us that sometimes come out to say things that you don't mean to say, or do you? Things are not always fair but that's because you never fight for your own stand. When you do, your monster is faced off with someone else's to the death to see who ultimately gets the last laugh.

"You Never" speaks of how sometimes there's a person in your life that believes himself/herself to be too noble but yet, does not perform to a certain expectation. We all know someone like this, no? This piece requires you to think of that person in order to understand more.

Hope y'all enjoy reading!!

The world is not fair because you're not
fighting hard enough to make it fair.
And if you can't make it fair, get EVEN.
